Plin Essence Privacy Policy

Overview

Plin Essence ("the App") is a single-player perfume empire simulation game. We designed the App to work entirely on your device without requiring an account, login, or internet connection for core gameplay.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party tracking services.

  • No name, email, phone number, or contact information is requested.
  • No location data is collected.
  • No photos, camera, or microphone access is used.
  • No data is sent to external servers.

Data Stored on Your Device

Game progress — including your company balance, formulas, products, research level, and language preference — is stored locally on your device using iOS system storage (UserDefaults). This data:

  • Remains on your device only.
  • Can be deleted at any time via Settings → Reset Progress within the App.
  • Is removed if you uninstall the App.
  • May be included in your iCloud or iTunes backup if you have device backups enabled (managed by Apple, not by us).

Children's Privacy

Plin Essence does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is suitable for general audiences and contains no user-generated content or social features.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate third-party services, social media logins, payment processors, or cloud backends. Your App Store purchase and download are handled by Apple under their own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Open the App → tap the Settings icon on the Dashboard → select "Reset Progress". This permanently deletes all saved game data on your device.
No. Plin Essence works fully offline. All game data is stored locally on your device.
Go to the Laboratory tab, name your formula, add ingredients across top, heart, and base note layers (total must equal 100%), then test and approve your formula before starting production.
Make sure you have sufficient balance for the campaign budget and that you have at least one approved product in production. Conduct market research from the Dashboard for better campaign results.
Open Settings from the Dashboard and select your preferred language. The App supports 8 languages with full interface translation.
